The Practice Development Forum regularly brings together Lead Dual Diagnosis Practitioners based within a wide range of services in Leeds.
Aims: (1)To support the continual development of knowledge and skills through regular training workshops and case discussions. (2)To harness multi-agency collaboration by offering practitioners a regular opportunity to network and liaise with other services. (3)To facilitate a forum where developments in the field can be raised and discussed, so that lead practitioners can cascade this information to their own teams.
Format: Themed workshops on topics relevant to practice in Dual Diagnosis are followed by case discussions. The workshops last 2 hours and are led by professionals from services that are linked to the DD Network.
Attendance: Places are offered to members of the DD Network and are advertised by e-mail every month. People interested in attending must reply to the e-mail invitation by the stated deadlines in order to secure a place.
Venue: Varies according to the number of confirmed participants. This will always be confirmed via e-mail.
